George Campanellas is CEO of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus) and Vice-President of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He previously worked in the Ministries of Health and Energy, Commerce, Industry & Tourism. He played an active role in drafting the regulatory framework and running the relevant licensing procedures for attracting FDI to sectors of strategic importance and large-scale infrastructure projects, including the EuroAsia Interconnector and City of Dreams Mediterranean.

Vice-Chairman, Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission
George Karatzias is Vice-Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, prior to which he led Alter Domus fund services in Cyprus, having joined in 2011. He also served as a board member of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). He is a Fellow member of ACCA and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Financial Services (University of Exeter). He has experience in international fund structuring, management and the provision of ancillary, middle and back-office services, including fund administration.

Tovey joined PwC Israel in 2021 after over 25 years’ tax experience in a combination of public accounting and in-house roles, including ten years as Global Tax Director at Boston-based PE firm Advent International. At PwC, he assists with planning the legal and operational structuring of new entities, M&A acquisitions and restructurings, planning for proposed and anticipated changes in tax laws, income repatriation and remuneration structuring.
